Okay, so this is my first solo blog. It’s a catch-all, but not just a collection of random thoughts. Here are the sections:

Okay, so I will chronicle my journey towards being a tenured professor. I’d thought about starting this when I was appointed, but didn’t have time! This area will help people unfamiliar with academia understand the process. It will hopefully help doctoral students and postdoctoral fellows as they progress along the academic career path.

Okay, so I love to overthink and overanalyze pop culture. I suppose it’s my way of justifying my pop culture addition. So, here are some of those thoughts- movie reviews, commentaries, etc.

Okay, so I had the longest, most bizarre nickname growing up (Tootie Fruity Train Full of Apples Prunella). I think my brother is to blame. Anyway, this is the catch-all for life updates and family information.
